I was thinking about some of the heavy metals from the base...wonder if that lake is/was as bad as Lake Worth....

I hope you didn't through it back. I cant remember what company it was but they dyed the heads of a couple bass and turned them loose and are offering a one million dollar reward to the first person to catch one and turn it in alive.

Never saw a Bass like that. Used to catch Lingcod in California, some were colored like that, some all over their body including the meat.

Eating lots of crawfish. Heard that somewhere. Could not tell you where. Kinda logical. I've always been told that Reds get this because of Iodine in Shrimp and Crabs from eating those critters.Cool pic!

Simple post spawn phenomena. This bass has 'done it' till it's blue in the face!
