Took a weekend trip to BB and thought I would share the report. The crowds were unusually thin for a weekend, and the fish were hungry which makes for the beginings of a great day. Until about 9am Saturday, there was only a handful of folks in the EH. By noon I had caught 40 fish with the biggest being a 17.
Near Deers and Wolley Buggers were the ticket all day. Olive and Black.
Saturday afternoon we decided to try between the beach area and the power plant. We didnt hook up on any trout but sure had fun with the smallies! Nothing big but even the little guys fight hard on a fly rod. From there we went down to rereg dam. I sure had some fun there. Besides catching numerous trout, I picked up a 14 sandie, and this bad boy LMB.
Sunday wasnt as hot, fishing wise. Only managed to pick up 10 by noon. Had to down size and throw midges to get takers. Packed up camp and headed back to the concrete jungle. Was a great weekend to be fishing and enjoying life.
