Ive heard of monster cats here so I baited 6 limb lines with live perch tonight. Ill give an update in the morning. Wish me luck.

At one time, LB Lake was so polluted that eating anything out of it was a no-no. I don't know what condition it's in now. There has been a lot of clean-up there and it looks good, but looks can be deceiving.

The ban was lifted in the mid 90's so I would feel fine eating a fish from there.

I dont know how I feel about eating those fish lol, the couple times I've been on that lake in the last couple years there has been about a 20 yard wide mat of trash all down the south side of the lake down by the dam. I know they do a lot of cleanup down there but it's still trashy. I'm sure the 2 or 3 bodies they pull out of that lake every year dont help either

Check the lines this morning and alot of empty hooks. Had one line busted!!!! I reset the lines this evening and rebaited with lively perch. We will see what happends.
As far as the fish being safe to eat they lifted the ban in the mid 90's...bodies in the lake keep the cats fat.
