No sling shot needed. Just do what we do durring duck season. When bass guys get with in 90 yrds of our spread we light up the area like we had a dozen ducks come in. Just keep a shotgun with u. Hard to argure with a steel shot shower

If i dont suceed i will die trying

This would be irritating.

I was reeling in a fish and had to lower the rod to the water so my line would not catch the person in the front seat. I almost let him hit it but was afraid it might cut the guys throat. This occurred on his return trip so he already knew we were there.

Best to call the GW and report him and his TX numbers. Be careful when messing with strangers on the lake. I have been quite stunned at how many fisherman carry guns on their boats. It suppose to be just fishing and having fun right?

Very irritating for sure. Sorry about the bad luck.

Best to carry a camera, and holler at the guy and if he refuses to move tell him that you are getting him on video and that you've got his TX number and that you are going to show it to the GW when he gets there.

I wouldn't bother with throwing weights or trying to provoke him into a fight as nowdays there are a lot of wacko's out there and they are likely armed.

BTW, I have my CHL but you don't pull a gun on someone unless you intend to use it and you're life is in danger and it's a last resort, and you have no way out.

+1 don't get an assault charge or worse shot over it. Get his number and tell the GW after you've let him know.

I was fishing next to a guy on the bank who had these gigantic, 14 foot shore rods, about 40 yards down bank from the boat ramp.

Of course he cast out like a bazillion yards, no reasonable boater would have thought, or known that his lines were that far out. But he whined and bitched at every boater that came past. It struck me that if he had been polite about it and let them know, instead of cussing and yelling, and realized that they HAD to get close to launch and recover their boats, he wouldn't have had to get his blood pressure up. Also he wouldn't get his A&& whooped by a big ole boater lol.

Remember that corp lakes you cannot carry. CHL is not valid on Fed land.

I say fish around him if your luck sucks it sucks if you couldn't catch a fish underneath a boat people wouldn't be in bass tournaments. if the guy pulls up on your lines just move... or sit there all day long and come back the next day and sit there all day long in that same place until nobody drives up on a boat and you have caught every fish in the lake. I swear I have caught big fish right by the boat ramp while people are power loading their boat,
