Hit the creek today and got into sand bass a plenty. Took these two home to eat on, though.

I wave as I a getting trash out of our parking lot. Mateo and I had been talking about our local creek all week and were headed out. On the way to the creek I see the tree truck I was going to pull up and wave, but got to the store and turned in for caffene. Mateo txt me he was at the creek as I pull up I see the tree truck lol. Didn even know I already knew him in my parking lot lol.

The slacks are pretty brilliant when you stop to think about it. Any fisherfolk who happen upon you wet wading in your Haggars is apt to think you're a half a bubble off from plumb and likely to give you your space.

The fish probably gather around to giggle at khakis in the water, only to be hooked by a craftily presented streamer. Pretty effective urban angling camo.

The big question really is: Are wingtips or loafers better for wet wading?

Lol. FYI those are Dickie's 874 work pants 19.99 from Walmart. They work great for everything from fishing to church.
