Hey guys, I am new to the forum found out about yall on the hunting forum and decided to check it out. I am headed down to galveston this weekend for my birthday and to do some fishing and would like to know if yall have any pointers on what bait and where to fish. Thanks

Fish the surf with a Carolina rig w/ fresh shrimp. You'll catch big whiting, slot drum, pompano and slot reds during this time of year. Check some of the Pier reports on the forum. Those guys have been on em lately.
