Anyone know a good place on Lake Austin for Carp. Any other lakes and rivers would be good. I used to fish at brushy creek but all the carp disappeared. I don't know why... I took a small one home to fry and they were nasty. Never ate them again.. Thanks for any responses!!!

I am new to carp fishing... I just use bread, eggs , and water. Mushed it all together.

try sweet corn straight out the can throw some in the general area not to much maybe a 1/4 to begin with. if the fish are there just chum accordingly. thread a couple kernals on the hook. that should work good luck. but lake Austin has a couple great spots

I caught a few in Brushy last week. Use corn like SoCal said. Works every time.

Needs to be heavily baited before hand to really get some fish in there.
