anyone remember the name of the chatter bait that had the hook attached to a small cable or wire, it was not set in the head, you could move it around, thanks for info.

Remember one called Leverage. I think they made spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.

Brass N' Blades uses a frog double hook on their baits, but has a single hook option on the chatterbait if you want to use a trailer like a LFT magic shad or a brush hog. They have also created a trailer hook that will work with the double hook. They have a great product.

$10 for a lure that snags at the sight of a stump. . .I dunno. Do those frog hooks not cause the thing to hang up 10x worse?

They make them with single hooks as well...but yes if you buy the frog hook version it will grab everything it swims by
