Need to upgrade my front electronics. Thinking I should jump on this considering they are giving a $300 rebate from $1499. Anyone have this set up and is this a good deal? I have the HDS5 Gen 2 in the console http://www.basspro.com/Lowrance-HDS7-Gen...12022505010428/

I have an HDS 7 on my boat and love it. Anytime you can save money is a good thing.

I have an HDS-7 on the bow and an 8 on the console and love both the price is right so I would say jump.

I got one at academy for the graph and transducers for right at 500. They had them on sale and there was a 150 dollar rebate good graph

Just FYI guys, Bass Pro is expensive on their graphs. If you want to save $100 bucks, pay no tax and get free shipping buy your graph from boemarine.com
So avoiding the tax you'll save about $200 bucks. The rebate applies to everyone, not just bass pro.

I hope you get your rebate, I have been waiting since last June. Have called many times was told in November that it was sent but must have been lost in the mail. They were going to cancel the card and resend another within 2 weeks, it is a little past that now I think. I gave up as life is too short to chase a 200 dollar rebate. Great units just not great with the rebate.
