I use it sometimes. I don't mind the smell of the other stuff and it's a hassle to deal with the liver. But if you do, I prefer using panty hose to keep it on.

I am a cashier at a local grocery store. Chicken livers and gizzards went on sale today and saw about 10 pounds of chicken gizzards and 5 tubs of chicken livers leave the store. They were all going fishing today when I asked if they were. They all said they had been catching fish on them lately.

Of course everyone has different stories, but in all the years I've fished, I've never had any luck (and by that I mean never a single solitary fish) on stink or punch bait. Either I'm fishing it wrong or just terrible luck.
I have done well with chicken livers in seasons past. In my experience it does better on relatively light weights and smaller hooks, it is so easy to pull off the hook that detecting the light nibbles is more important than with other, more substantial baits.

jeez lowe, what punch bait are you using? if its that [censored] from walmart then there is your answer, danny kings, big marvs, CJs or sureshot are really the only ones worth using from my experience. lately CJs has had iffy batches so id go with big marvs or sureshot.

My last batch was Danny kings, but I bought it at wal-mart I don't want to hijack this guys thread, but I'd be interested to know what setup you fish it with. Hook size, weight, so on..
I haven't had any luck at all this year so I'd be willing to try it again.

May as well tell ya also that if you will dump a coffee can of soured milo under your boat while you are using that punch bait it will make you hate to clean fish in a short time. LOL Punch bait and milo go togather in my opinion.
