Camping for a week...

there right at 2 pounds that's what I use all the time.

Looks like a hoot! Have fun. Nothing more fun than pitching jugs with the kids.

One 4 pound blue this morning. One lost jug too. Hopeful will find it tomorrow when we can see. That fog was Thick today

Educate me, on the cans?

the weighted cans are to help keep the jug in a specific area, usually done when you are setting the jugs in the evening and coming back the next morning to check them. If you dont weight them, what happened to my uncle will happen...the jugs will get scattered all over the lake by the wind and fish. With a weight, even if a fish begins to drag the jug around, usually they will only drag it so far out of the area they are set. Hope that helps.

Fog was thick this morning, i set out six jugs and got nine fish. One was in the twenties we let it go. We are in the car waiting out the storm are you fishing out of Johnson branch?
I put a piece of wire hanger in the can them fill it with redi mix as s weight it works great.
