I have two lower ends for my boat one has to be completley rebuilt and the other one needs to have the propeller shaft is the only thing that needs to be replaced. what would be the cheapest route to rebuild the whole lower end or to replace the propeller shaft?

It's called a lower unit and prop shaft replacement will be far less expensive than a rebuilt lower.

Probably $600-$700 with seal kit and labor, but that is only a guess.

Call the experts and ask them.
