Thinking about heading out tomorrow after I list a house Should get on the water around noon. Don't know if I want to fish deep windy water or shallow mud flats. What would y'all do

Went with a guide last Saturday on Tawakoni. They started fishing shallow, 20 feet and less, very slow, moved to 40 ft flats and did much better. Bet this cold weather may send them out deep. Just what we did, certainly no authority!

Exactly what are you calling shallow. We were fishing at oak grove park and it seemed to only be about 4 or 5 ft max?

Last weekend everything I caught was around 30-35' deep. Weekend before that was around 10'. Id keep looking in the 30-40' range this weekend with the shallow water cooling more this week.

Me and my fishing buddy have pulled multiple teens a few 20s a 35 and 41 all from shallows at grapevine all within the past 5weeks

Fishing oak grove park is your problem lol

I'm thinking shallow north mud flats but with the north west wind I'm also thinking south side of the dam would be a good area too.... decision decision

Good luck.
