I'd suggest converting from the dark side, selling your bass boat and buying my older Lund...it has it's own minner bucket already in the live well and it's guaranteed to catch crappie for you, your wife and your kiddos!!!! yep, great plan if I do say so myownself!

I just use my livewell. I have one that is really only good enough for minnows. I have out them in the bigger one if I want to keep them overnight. I have nets for my shad tank so getting them out is not a problem.

I use a 5 gal bucket & a battery operated airater. Batteries last forever. freeze a bottle of water or take one of those blue ice packs & place in the bucket to keep your minnows or shad alive. Good luck & most of all have fun!

I practice extreme catch & release, I don't catch them so I don't have to release them!

Welcome to the forum...maybe the info from some of the guru's will help you migrate from "extreme catch and release" to "extreme catch and grease"!!!

welcome

I took a small cooler and mounted a battery operated aireator to the top. drop in your minnows with a hand full of ice and you are good to go for several hours. I usually change the water after several hours because I really stuff the minnows in . I need a bigger cooler..
