on a tube your hit will come on the fall most times , you can play with the weight say a 1/4 to 1/8 for fall to see what they want move it a couple times and bring it on in

Thanks... What colors are good? What type of structure and depth do you fish it in? Or does it matter?

Tubes are great. My favorite is BPS Tender Tube 3.5" in greenpumpkin or black/red flk fish on a T-rig, 1/8oz weight. For flippin Strike Kinp Flippin tube and Reaction Innovations BoomBoom tube. Tubes work in all depths, they're a perfect baitfish immitation.

Put a bell weight inside the tube, run hook through the wire loop. It will spiral to the bottom like a dying bait fish. They also make weights for that purpose .

Either TX rigged with a #3 or 4 tube or EWG hook or rig it with a jig head. I like to either crawl/drag or hop mine, similar to either a jig or TX rigged worm. Tubes are a killer this time of year too. I also usually use spinning gear when I throw tubes but have used them on a baitcast with success as well.

1/4oz tungsten, 4/0 EWG, I like to hop them. Been wearing them out on a tube all month. Strike King Coffee Tubes are awesome baits.

In my experience, flipping tubes is by far the best way to fish them in the cold.

It will twist your line up over time. But it will also catch fish. I also like to put a drop of your favorite attractant in the tube.
