Falcon continues to challenge many locals and most of those who are here that have fished this lake in the past. The March tournaments will tell the tale.

There's actually a whole bunch of those, especially in the northern part of the lake and at the rio grande, my partner has caught many!

Anyways, it seems as if the bass up north at zapata are already in shallow water. My partner went 2 weekends ago I believe and caught 4 in 2ft of water however down in the southern part of the lake we were not able to find the shallow bite this past weekend. Another fishermen told us he found them from 10-15ft of water so perhaps there still deep!

Im on a incredible shallow water bite. Lots of bites. 16 fish today by noon and clients wanted to go fish deep water. We picked up one more fish in the last 3 hours. I have had a 25 fish day with big bass at 7.9 and a 12 fish day with a heavy 6 big fish. Both days we lost at least 6 fish before getting them in the boat. The big girls are coming in and it's just a matter of being there when they arrive.
I have a 10.44 from shallow water and all has been in the last 2 weeks.
They are there, u just got to find the write water.

We found them shallow on the weekend. Spinnerbaits 1-4 feet. There were beds everywhere but didn't see a single fish on a bed. Had 22 pounds on Saturday and 23 pounds on Sunday. Caught a bunch and missed a bunch. Finding the right water is the key.

If the phone doesn't ring, it's me. I'm still fishin!
