Thinking about making a trip out there. Never been and I'm getting a little burned out at Alan Henry. How is the water level? I mean... How low is it? Has anyone done any good out there, lately?

Pretty low. Last I heard they were working on the ramp at the dam. Could still launch behind the store, but it was kind of sketchy back in December. Haven't heard any recent reports.

Drove over it last monday. I've fished it a bunch and if you want to see what you'd be fishing if the water were up, now's the time to go. It's very low, I don't think you could launch from either ramp at Live Oak Lodge. Didn't see what the ramp looked like at Sportsman's Lodge near the dam. Navigation won't be too hard since it is mainly creek channels now. Just be careful if you head down there, it can be sneaky.
