After an awesome day on Hubbard Friday Feb 1st with Jeff Craft, Ray and fishing beside Gene and Todd and crew.
I hooked up with Dallas1fishermen Aaron , Fishboy Frank , Dr Whiplash Terry and Ladies man Ray and we headed to Tawakoni in Aarons aircraft carrier and got to the ramp at holiday at day break. Wasn't quite as cold this morning as friday morning but the wind was south. As a matter of fact it blew three directions just like friday.

Anyway it was a little tougher fishing than Hubbard. For the first part of the day we were ones and twos here and there. 35 foot of water seemed to be the best depth.Frank and I were struggling a little but we ended up with some good catching. And of course Ray was getting alot more hits than us --LOL--.
We went in all depths of water and 30 to 35 seemed to be the best.

Ran into Bill and Tammy and they had Mike ( luv to fish ) with them and they were hammering out some good ones. That is where the action picked up for us too. Aaron and Ray were doing pretty good and Dr, whiplash Terry was going for the big boy fish. Frank and I finally started catching some .Then Bill had to take Mike back to his truck so we went looking elsewhere and only got a few.

So we decided to head back over in the 35 foot of water where we ran into Bill,Tammy and Mike and the birds kicked up into action. And we started HAMMERING THE FISH Everyone was cathcing by now. By accident I caught 5 hybrids with to keepers --LOL-- And several football size sandies . Frank got some good fish too and snagged some hybrids and magnum football sandbass too. So we both felt redeemed --LOL-- And of course Aaron Terry and ray were just wearing them out. Then Aarons Wife Jenifer called so we left to go pick her up.

We picked her up and headed back to the same spot and Bill and Tammy where there with their two daughters. The bite slowed down a bit by now Except for Aarons wife Jenifer she was just way laying the big sandbass. And Aaron was getting them good as well. So they had a husband wife team show going on for us --LOL-- . Jenifer can catch a fish

So about 4:30 we decided to go clean fish before it got dark. Man I was surprised at the amount of fish we had in the live well. I think 52 fish total. We threw a bunch back too so we probably caught around 100. ( And I thought it was a slow day )

It was great fishing with you Aaron on your big roomy boat THANKS for having me along. Terry, Ray and Frank, as always it was a blast fishing with you all. Jennifer it was really nice to meet you finally and THANKS for bringing us some snacks. I really had a good time fishing with you and Aaron and Thanks for all you both did to make it a fun trip.

Great report. It looks like the Twak trip was a lot of fun and good fishing too. I thought plumbers worked on Saturday's. LOL.

Does Holiday have a fish cleaning station now? I heard not too long ago they got rid of it, too many fish guts laying around.

Yes Gene the picture where we have all the fish on the concrete is a cleaning station with two electrical outlets and running water. It is a nice one . But you have to discard you fish bones . But yes it was a good day out there but we had to work for them.

Good catch, thank GOD for magnum sandies. Tawak has some of the best.

Great report Keith! Sounds like an awesome day. Them magnum sandies were as big as a lot them hybrids we got on Friday! Way to go guys!

Glad you guys had a good trip. I did not see you guys on the water.We fished for Hybrids most of the day caught some sandbass,0 hybrids,and more catfish than I ever have on a fluke On our way in I marked some pigs(sorry huge blues) in large bait balls .So on the way out I thought what the heck I will try deadsticking em.Needless to say I will be taking some large shad on my next hybrid trip.....

Great report Keith, and as usual great seeing all you guys. It wasn't fireworks out there, but fairly steady for us. Big thanks to Bill and Tammy Davis for dragging me along, they are some good peeps!! We fished mainly flukes, so we probably could have caught more with slabs but those piglet sandies like a fluke too!!
Bill got a nice hybrid weighing in at 9 something. Nice fish Bill.

Yes Gene believe it or not bill had to take me back to my car early cause of a leaking water heater!!! Ugh
