The last few trips have been productive. Yesterday being the best. Please do not read any further if you need a hybrid report. I have not been able to locate them lately. The white bass are eager and very healthy. The pattern has been to look for fish for a couple of hours. Then catch them easily when they are located. They are deep (30-35 feet). My boat has been all over the lake looking. The only area with fish I have found has been the Hickory Creek arm of the lake.
Yesterday, I even brought along some shiners since my fishing partner does not fish much and the bite has been very light. I thought the live bait would help him detect the bite. He caught nothing on the shiners, but did well with the small slabs.
The secret is finding them. The catching is relatively easy.
The water temperature has been running in the 46-48 degree range. Yesterday it was 52. Maybe Spring is almost here.

Nice report, have they moved up hickory arm by the island or are they still around the dolly parton humps?

Never heard of the Dolly Parton Humps. They sound very interesting. Check from the main lake all the way to the I-35 bridge.

Yes, I have much interest in fishing around Dolly Partons Humps also. Are these the same as the Pockrus Hump?
