Im not a big crappie fisherman, but I sure do love to eat them. Headed to pines in the morning to try to restock. taking the wife and kiddo. Any info to help keeping them bored would GREATLY be appreciated.

Forgetting the rods at home will probably keep everybody bored grin sorry couldn't help myself...

Check out LOP reports in this section by Chuck Rollins. I think he gives some good starting points. But basically just point the nose of your boat to the hydro mass of boats toward the dam smile Overlook is probably your best place to launch. And don't be afraid to drift the flats away from the bulk of the fishermen. We have often done quite well all by our lonesome while others are just soaking jigs and minners.

Good luck thumb

Limited out today, 25-28ft , seemed to be the magic depth.

We fished Pines yesterday morning. The fishing was excellent, we had 75 by 11:30. Our best depths were 24-30ft and everything was caught on Jigs. Lots of boats out yesterday. Everything caught around the creek channel.

We caught ours on minnows, the next trip I'm going to try jigs.
