I have never fished either, heard some good things, will be there in mid February.

The lake record holder is my buddy. It does have some good fish from what I have heard. Ive never been myself but of everyone I have heard from that has gone none have had issues with truck/car break ins.

I fished it a lot when I moved here in 2004 because the neighbor hood ramp is 5 minutes from me. I caught bass but the biggest was about 3 pounds. I have no doubt there are good fish there. I've been told that Marine Creek was selected as a trial lake for Florida strain bass a long time back. I've read on this forum that there used to be grass and the fishing was much better then. I never had any problems with people but I always fished early morning and came off around noon. Caught bass but not great quantity or size. Pretty deep lake overall because it was a gravel pit/quarry. Also is hard to get out of the wind on that lake. Don't fish it much now because I've learned Lake Worth and can usually do better there.

It was stocked with 6000 s.a.l. Fry in 2006 and 2008 if some made it they should be roads by now.

position your boat parallel with the rip rap on the dam. throw a small crank bait root beer or white and bounce it off the rocks, when you feel it hit a rock use slowly sweep your rod. caught some good bass on the dam.

Toads not roads auto correct sucks.

Caught this one out there a couple weeks ago. Never had a problem with my vehicle either. There isn't much of a ramp just some rocks and dirt.

I took my boat out there a couple of months ago to test some electronics. I was out there no more than an hour and out of sight of my truck for only a few minutes but thats all it took. Got back to the truck and had two windows busted out. Dont be fooled by people who tell you its safe. The lake is just not good enough to ever risk that. Beware of methheads, they are for real!!

Back in the 80's TPW caught a 14.0 lb + in thier shocking survey down by the dam. I think it was stacked over 5-6 times with florida strain.

My grandad held the lake record for awhile, I've fished it numerous times over the years, twice from boat, but mostly from bank, I've hiked completely around the lake on foot, way before subdivisions were there, as far as vandalism and theft, I've never had a problem but others have, the fishing is 50\50, one time can catch em with occasional goodn, next time zero.

I fish it pretty often and live close and never had a problem. There was a ramp closer to me off ten mile bridge that has been closed for more than 2 years and that has eliminated potential trouble issues.
Fishing has been best early spring in either creek shallow. But all year I catch em off shore all year round on cranks on 10-12 off rock piles all over the lake.
