Looking to spend two days with two different crappie guides next month. Can anyone recommend two good lakes that are within a couple of hours drive fm each other. I'm thinking about one day on fork followed by a day on cedar creek but would greatly appreciate any other thoughts. Thanks

Lake Palestine, Tyler Texas......huge slabs! Google Palestine guides. Mike Weeks is full-time, Eric Potkotter, both are good!

Wright Patman has been providing many LIMITS! At Fork, you keep what you catch, including "Small" fish.......

I only know Cedar Creek Lake, it's as good as they get. And without a doubt, if you want a truly great outing, call bigcrappie.com and Chuck or one of they guys will teach you more about crappie fishing than anyone else on the planet! Plus, super nice guys that you will enjoy and remember for a lifetime!

If I were coming from San Antonio...Lake Limestone and Richland Chambers would be two good ones. Never been on either one but I'm fishing Chambers right after Christmas with an old friend.
