Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone has any info on bay fishing in December. Thinking about planning a trip just because, but would like to hear if anyone has any luck at this time. There has to be something biting out there. Looked all on google found nothing... THANKS!

Can one become a master at fishing? Pshh... yes...

Bay fishing is good all through the winter. Dec, Jan, and Feb you can still catch the big 3 ( Trout/reds/flounder). Winter time is actually my favorite time of year. We still can catch numbers of fish but I prefer targeting the larger specks.

Fishing in the bays is good year round, just depends on what you target. I would say looking for speckled trout and flounder in december is the best bet. The flounder run started late this year so they should be easy to clean up on. Might be a little early for the big trout but the 15-25 inch variety are easy pickings right now.

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.
