Dark sand and gravel makes me think it's the Upper Texas Coast.

Any geologists on the forum who can indentify that beach? Not many places in Texas with beach texture like that.

Sorry folks, was away from the computer a couple days. We were about half way between Galveston and Port Arthur on Mcfaddin WMR. Tagged a few and kept a couple in the slot. Most were returned to the water.

I wasn't trying to give you beach away. It just had the look around High Island and east. Did it take 4 wheel drive to get there? I have a little Hyundai with 2 wheel drive.
