Congrats again Roger and Monica. You represented the North Region well, as did Pat and Mary Ann. See you all next year and are already looking forward to fishing Texoma at the C'ship.

Congrats well deserved. We had a frustrating weekend in the top 10 after Saturday. First spot have two big fish shake off save our best spot for last and the new lower unit that was a put on last week bites the dust on our way to it with 2 hours before weigh in. Had to be towed in right past our final spot to fish. Ugh! One of our couples from the metroplex had to throw back a 20 lb sack Sunday for being late to weigh in due to engine trouble. They were in 14th after Saturday our hearts break for them also.

Oh man, that stinks, I did hear about Chris having to dump his fish, if he had twenty he would have won it, did they weigh them ? There are so many factors that come into play in order to win a big tournament, the Marino's who we just barely beat could have had one of their fish throw up a crawdad that caused them to lose, who knows, lady luck was definitely on our side this past weekend.

Great job, guys! It was definitely a fun weekend, and CAST is a top notch organization. John and Grace know how to run a good, fair tournament.

We had a good weekend on Amistad, too, just couldn't get that one really big kicker. We finished 11th overall, but were 41st going into Sunday. Can't wait for next year on Texoma.

Congrats Roger and Monica Some times it is chicken and other times it is feathers, it was feathers for us. But the more time I spend on Amistad the more I like it. If it was closer to the metro mess it would be a busy place. Championship coming our way next year!

My wife talked to him and needless to say he was pretty devestated. He had 2 5lb fish and a total of 20. I am not sure if he actually weighed them or if that was an estimate. Congrats again!
