 Didnt weigh it, but I figure about 200-250. Its my PB.

Opening weekend? No. I dont have a place to rifle hunt deer. I bow hunt them and have been already. Watched 2 small bucks eat all the corn.
I will go again, but it will be in a few weeks. I do have a chance to go rifle hunt for deer the end of the month in Pearsall, which is where I killed the pigs this past weekend. There have been bucks up to 145 killed there. I'm hoping for a PB, but we will see. There will be more hogs no doubt, but we will see what the cat drags in deer-wise.
I have not shot a deer with my rifle since 2006.

Time to fill the empty freezer!
Ted, wild hogs are good to eat! Remove the scent gland in the rear ham. Place the joints in a cooler and cover with ice, leave the drain plug open and keep adding ice for two to three days.
After the soaking; the meat will be a super supper!
