Instead of scheduling another date in 2013 for a championship I would like to award the AOY top 5 in the format listed below. I believe that will keep more anglers interested in the hunt for the AOY race. We are going to a 4 tournament format for this series which I also believe will help keep guys in the competition and not bleed over into next years competitions.

I will guarantee $2000 minimum in the AOY fund so that the minimum paid to our top 3 AOY finishers would be.
1st. $1000+Free Entry in 2013
2nd. $600
3rd. $400
More competitors equalls higher AOY payouts in December.

Points will be awarded 100 for 1st, 99 for 2nd, 98 for 3rd and so on. A tie in the points race will be settled by combining overall weight for the series.

We are also dropping the entry fee to $100 per team which includes BB. This will hopefully encourage some anglers who either feel their skill levels do not warrant a $160 entry or for those like many in this economy simply cannot afford it.
For those who like to play a little harder we have the Double Down entry for an additional $100 for those who want to compete for higher stakes.

Isnt the DSM tournament on 9-29-12 on fork? hmmmmm which one shall i fish?

You can fish both if you would like. The DSM event is a BB event. Diane will be there and record weights of any of our team members who weigh a fish in the hourly's. DSM and myself are OK with the double ups.

What about start times? DSM starts at 6:30 am?

You will have to give up the 20 minutes on the double up. Our event is leave the ramp at 6:50AM and all fishing ceases at 3:00PM. 6:50AM will still be a twilight start, especially if we get the predicted cloud cover.

Thanks Tom, Lake Fork is a busy venue and the local business's need all the support they can get. Working with other tournaments has always been a priority to Diane and myself.
We are wishing the DSM event much success. Come fish one event or both if it fits your budget and we will make it work.

OK to double up with the DSM Big Bass event. We will verify the weight slip they give you and it can be used toward your 5 fish limit. Only one over 24" per team. Thus if you weigh two fish throughout the hourly weigh ins with DSM and you want to retain those weights in your JCO limit. Bring 3 fish and two weight slips to our weigh in. Diane will be verifying DSM weights throughout the day.

Lake Fork Fall Teams #2 This Saturday. Registration begins at 5:30am at the Minnow Bucket pavilion on the water front due to temporary store closing.
Leave the ramp at 7:10am all fishing ceases at 3:00pm and you must be chip checked in at the pavilion by 3:30pm.
