Oak Ridge. Clean place with reasonable rates on their rooms and the restaraunt has good food. And a very nice selection of tackle.

I can't ever get anyone to answer the phone here so I always leave a message but never get a return phone call.

I always stay at either LF Marina or Big Mouth Lodge. BML is a little cheaper but there is less stuff there too...just little cabins, a ramp and a dock. No frills but they are nice people and it gets the job done.

If you're not staying at Popes, you're makin a mistake. After staying there, I'm not taking my business anywhere else. John Goergen, who runs the place, is one of the nicest guys out there who does his absolute best to accommodate your every need. As stated before, the fishing is pretty awesome over there too!

I don't always catch bass, but when I do, I prefer Dos Bass
