Went fishing at the bubbles several times during the weekend. Friday night before dark was the best, managed to keep over 40 keepers between me and my friend, the later it went, the larger the keeper.
Saturday night was tough, only got 3 big keepers before dark (the young little cute game warden on boat was around and told us to leave before dark because I don't have any light on my pota-bote), so on our way away from the bubbles, we made our last cast and boom, I hooked two and he hooked one, so we stayed a little longer and end up about 20.

Mornings seem slow with a lot of dinks There are a lot of shads and jumping around but the bass seems not interested in biting.

here is what we got from friday night.

Went out there last weekend for the first time. Did pretty good (caught 50 or so and kept 15 for a fish fry). Launch at Silver Lakes Marina, head straight out about half way down the dam and you will see the aerator bubbles and the boat show. I had good luck with rooster tails and small spoons with a feather. Couldn't get them to bite on slabs to save my life. Good luck!

Hello I'm new to TFF,I fish lake Weatherford and they also have the air bubbles by the dam. They have shad all over them and we manage to catch 1 or 2 solid white bass on the bubbles but that's it,after that its like they shut down. I'm using a small white grub on a 1/8 jig head. I never kill them, does anyone have any tips on how I can catch more white bass on the bubble any help would be appreciated. Thankyou
