Congrats on getting the Chronicle to do the article! Good pub for you and the lake! I fished Livingston for years but never up in the upper reaches where the Trinity comes into the lake. It's interesting to see you can find and catch big numbers of whites up there, Do you do this up there regularly? What was the date when you and Shannon went out?

Great article Simon. You are really a credit to your profession and we are very fortunate to have you working on Livingston.
By the way, the stripers are hot right now on the south end and appear to have pushed a lot of the white bass aside...maybe towards your area.
I'm leading a "seminar" on striper fishing on Livingston at the next Hookers meeting and would love to have you come by and add your knowledge to the discussion, if you're interested.

Thanks for the Kind words every one!!! The trip was this past monday and yes dennis we catch fish like that on the reg up there as long as the river stays green! Meadowlark what day is the Seminar?

Meadowlark let me know when you can meet up i have got some Roosters Tackle slabs you need to try out!! Its like force feeding fish with these things!

The September meeting of the "Hookers" (a Livingston area group that gets together monthly to discuss fishing and yes the name grabs attention) is Sept. 20. The discussion will be on "Livingston Striper Fishing" and I'll be leading the discussion with a 50 page or so presentation. Simon is that the "Cowboy" slab? I've been using the "Duke" for a good while now from Mitch and really like it for Livingston stripers. I'm sure if its from Mitch its not like the people that call themselves Cowboy and are all hat and no cattle.
