If I want to avoid rude people I just stay home and leave the TV turned off.

For sure. Now everyone thinks the lake, fish and cover is theirs because they somehow found it on their graph. Just about everyone who is reading this or posting have moved in to someone's spot, pot licked or what ever else people complain about yet they still do it. To many people who think they are a pro and not enough people who just want to enjoy a day on the lake and maybe catch a fish or two.

This is why I do most of my duck hunting and fishing during the weekdays about 90% of the folks you normally see on the weekend are at work.......

Hog if you run in to me that is one thing that I will always give and that is respect. I had parents and mentors that were wonderful enough to instill that vertue in me growing up...even though I have always had it, it took me getting older to relize just how valuable it really is.......for you young guys out there if you really want show someone what being a real man is all about the next time you get in a situation like this be gracious and respectful no matter how rude the other person is. Trust me when they get away from the situation and they think about it a little bit you will have rattled them to their very core. Going over board with respect will mess with them a lot more than having an arguement and in a positive way......

I deal with everything now from a biblical perspective including situations like these.........what it boils down to is two wrongs don't make a right........I get in a situation like this and I pray for the person on the other end........

My thoughts exactly, we are complaining of etiquette and manners but yet we are all encouraging outrage and gesture to another that we think has screwed up. I don't think that would be leading by example. Now I will admit I may not be the pro fisherman you all claim to be but I probably spend just about the same if not more money on my equipment and time getting to a lake and do scouting as well. If I graph areas and use my knowledge and time to research an area and go to fish it only to hear of someone complain that they found first then yes we may both have a problem. I promise you I was very well raised and taught well but I was also taught that when dealt [censored] to deal it back. I would hope that it's all talk about boarding a boat and wielding a gun because I promise you my boat would be the last one you boarded. That would not be the way to deal with it. I agree if your there I would move on and come back but it also works both ways. If I see someone fishing 100 - 150 yards away from a spot I'm headed to I see no problem fishing there as well. I mean really, how much room is enough?
