So we are opening a tackle shop in south texas called anglers edge and we want to make it fit all fishermans needs. Im helping him get everrything ready but what are some top things that you would like to see in a tackle shop that you dont have at places like academy. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Live bait if you're close to the water.

I'd say take a tour through Roy's Bait & Tackle in Corpus and Port A Outfitters in Port A to get an idea of the saltwater tackle.

We arent really getting into live bait. More into artificails like kelly wigglers , H&H, and gulp. We are just trying to get things that are hard to come by to make it easier for guys like us.

I think the (Floatmaster) Salt Water Wade Fishing Float would be a good fit. Very popular in Galveston and Matagorda Bay Systems.
