 Need a guide for matagorda area.

Id like to take my little girl fishing in Matagorda. No big redfish please. Looking for schools of trout, whiting, drum, things a 6 yr. old can handle and not be beat up by. Looking for a 4-6 hour trip, scenic and fun. its more about her than the fish.

Hey, If any of you know of a good pier in Matagorda, or a safe place to fish from shore...please share, Id also like to take my wife and son; the little one cant go out on a boat yet....hes just a baby.

The harbor is a good place to take the kids. There are a couple of spots on river road. I take my kids often and they prefer the beach and the harbor
