Got the chance to go back to the private lake in East Texas and managed another good trip. With all the fancy electronics in the boat I wound up catching the best fish on a stump that I high centered the boat on (figures). First time to get stuck on a stump but was able to get off with no damage. I threw out a marker before I got the thing and went back to it late to give it a try. I took this image of it as I came back by. Still learning how to use the si but you can see the fish between the larger section of stump on the left and the smaller stump on the right.  Caught 4 on this stump over 2lbs. The largest was 2.4lbs. Big fat crappie.   Water was like glass until about 10am. Once the wind started out of the NE around 10:45 they shut off completely. Didn't run the counter today but managed to catch a number of fish. Still looking for that 3 pounder I'm sure he's in here somewhere.

I bet your eyes looked like a couple of 3 pounders when ya ran up on that stump. OUCH! I hope there was no damage.
But man that is one pole bender! Very nice!
