any suggestions on the $200 or less for a cranking rod would like it to be glass. been using a skeet reese and i love the feel of it but the components are junk and giving out on me.

power tackle rods are about $250 and very good. dobyns rods are just a little over $200 and also very good. I would spend the extra few bucks and go with one of them.

I have a Dobyns 705 cb glass that I really like for my shallow cranking. I bought mine when it was 20% off at Bass Tackle Depot.

Dobyns makes INCREDIBLE glass cranking rods. Check out the 765 CB Glass. It is good for all around cranking. You can throw square bills to deep divers on it. You will not be dissapointed.

Ive got a Skeet Reese Lamiglass glass rod.Its old school USA made technology at its finest.The handle could be a couple inches longer.They run around $160 I think.
