i have tried just about every kind of light ......i think the leds down the side look really cool .......and i do know the old green flourescent academy lights will draw about a thousand to one on baitfish versus white light.....been there and put them at each end of the boat and even moved them to opposite ends....
couldnt see in the water for the baitfish on the green light and had like 2 stupid lost shad at the white one ......they do suck down the battery though

I bought mine from www.coastalnightlights.com They arent expensive, are below the water line and produce a very bright light with no noticeable battery drain and the guy is a pleasure to deal with.. they produce so much light that it lights up the whole roostertail behind my 150 @ 60mph

I have done a few boats with the same lights I have been installing on cars for years I install 16 foot of lights for $200 and $50 for each additional 16 foot. I can put lights in the live well, in the boat, under the console, and of course under the rub rail. I put the lights on my boat and drove it threw hell and the lights still work. if you are poor like me the ebay lights are the way to go!

I would be happy to do the work for you or help you do it yourself just PM me

I also put these same lights in a clear rubber hose that will go to any depth depending on the amount of weight you put at the bottom, 16 foot long with a good size weight I sink half to about 8 foot and half stays on top and I catch my bait by hand.

I can make the lights any color or extra bright green

wildcatlighting.com is restructuring the buisness so they are on hold for 60-90 days on purchases. One guy, Don, runs the whole thing by himself and the orders have overwhelmed him.

Buy submersible lights. Reel lites are top quality sub lights. The lights down the side of your boat look really cool but they blind the hell out of anyone else fishing in the same area. Especially while river fishing. My 2 cents.

Keep on fishing.

Sorry if they blind you, but they work a heck of a lot better than sink lights. I have used them all. I was sceptical of these LEDs at first, since I have used sink lights forever. So, I heard they helped with bringing in the bait and fish. Best money investment since Side Imaging. I can prove they will bring more to my boat than yours. I do every night I go out there while next to other boats with sink lights or white lights. Sometimes they just set up around me and we all have fun. But the big question is How much do you wanna spend. These are a couple hundred dollars. Sink lights "do" work so dont get in a hissy, they are under 75$ for a good sinker light.

LED strips, they add a ton of safety. They light up EVERYTHING. We night fish the rocks and dams, and in the timber at Fork. Lights up the forest and Boat Lane bouies. NO ONE WILL HIT YOU. They will stop first wondering WT@ is that?

Within 2 mins, shad and glass minnows are circling my boat. So, I would base this on a whats in your wallet.

They look cool and all but they would not last on mine with all the bumpin I do to get to some of the places I do. I use green submersible flourescents(2) and I really couldn't imagine more bait around em. But I am a tightwad too and if what I have is workin, why change? I run a greyline bait tank(30 gallon) and 2 flourescents all night and they all pull off a single 12V for the trolling motor and never wanted for power in the a.m. When check the cells afterward before I put the charger on I only have 1 ball not floating. I would love to get an LED submersible or 2 cause they do draw way less but I want the 18-24" models and they aint exactly cheap either. All depends on what ya want to spend. I'm plenty satisfied with the way I do it.

I don't always fish at night but when I do...I can see you guys with the LEDs around your boats from a mile away.

Ain't new technology cool? Can't wait to see what's next!

Well I did the bright white LEDS. And yes I bought them from EBAY. The first set of 300 LEDs cost me $9.58 and free shipping from China. It took about a week to get here, but they work great. Everybody that see's them wants them. I ordered 300 more for the other side, plus some for the inside of the boat. I was looking into all these other guys charging $200++ and I really wanted them bad. But I saved lots just doing it myself and I am super glad I did. Now I have all the extra cash to add more mods to my boat. I went with the bright white, because I really do have better luck then with the green light. I have the white float lights and the green submergible, and I will see tons more bait fish around the white lights.

The pic next to the dock is with my lights only. There are no lights on the dock and it was dark....
