I have a 19' X19/150 yamaha.Boat is ratted for a 200hp,150 works fine however at times wish I had the 200 on it.Bought new in 2003,before this one had a fisher,was a little to small,prior to that had a skeeter.I love the xpress,has everything other bassboats have,serves my porpose greatly.Would have got a 21' but wouldn't fit into garage.Would recomend it.good luck
By the way Yowell's services my boat.

Don't rule out the G3s if you can find one. They are all-welded and built like tanks. When I bought mine from a guy in Rockport, it was the only one for sale in the entire state on Boat Trader or Craigslist. I probably paid too much for it, but I'm on a lake with wind, boat traffic, and rough water, plus I fish at the coast and I wanted something that would hold up to the chop. No regrets.

I was actually at Yowells yesterday. I decided a boat is my next buy. Not knowing much about boats I went knowing I wanted something tough, reliable and pretty much universal. I was recomended the XP18cc. I realy like it and cant wait until the end of the year when I get to buy one. As I said I dont know much about boats, but from the research I have done just in the last couple days I am impressed with what Express is offering in quality, design, and affordability. A brand new quality boat with nice options can be bought for less than a used boat with the same options. No brainer......as long as you dont require sparkly paint and 65mph

Sorry guys, typo my boat is an XP18SS not a cc. Sorry for the confusion.

I liked the storage on the SS better than the CC

I'm like you when I buy something like this I prefer to buy new. I have bought so much [censored] in the past that I grew ill with used stuff. I don't know much about xpress boats. I have seen a few they look great and well built.

I own a 20' Xpress CC with 115 Yamaha spray on liner ECT that I purcased new at Carey & Son Marine in Grandbury in 2010. My opinion is it's an excellent boat, very stable, will do 40mph which is plenty fast for me, and easy on fuel consumption. Carey & Son Marine currently has one in stock for $21,499.00.

I live in Hot Springs and these boats are made right around the corner from us. They make a very good boat and we see a lot of them around here. If I went with a new aluminum boat, it would be a Xpress. I actually have been looking at them a little. the reason is that I am getting older and am getting tired of climbing up and down all day. I am thinking of a center console Xpress with a bench type seat.

Anyway, everybody I see around here that owns one loves their Xpress boat. My brother is looking at new boats and I am trying to steer him to a Xpress. They are tough as nails and rider good if you get the right hull. I think the price sounds a little high to me. I think you would be happy with the Xpress line.
I came back to edit and add.....I remember you are sorta new to boats and may use it in saltwater....make SURE you get a trailer suitable for this like galvanized...They may be special order...

I have the XP20CCSS and I love this boat. It is my first boat and I was concerned about over-buying, but the boat trailers, drives and loads very easy! I have had four fat boys on my boat and have to trouble moving along with the 115. I would definitely recommend this boat!
