The answer to your question is no! Thats the gods honest truth. I spent 5 hours running the whole lake on Saturday and didnt see a single top water action. When we marked fish and tried slabbing them I had no takers.
I have never been skunked on this lake and this was the first time. I usually at least catch a dink here or there but NOTHING.

They are biting if you can find them. The fish are already in their summer patterns. small schools and scattered. sporadic top water here and there. most fish are coming off 22-27FOW on slabs.
Still catching limits each trip.

A little night fishing with live shad, and I've been killing them off the humps. Two man limits Thursday, Friday, and Sunday night. Yes, you have to look for them, but when you find them, its game on!

got a 3 man limit yesterday. after fishing structure for crappie yesterday, we were headed back to the marina and as we were cutting across the lake we ran into a school of sandies. not boiling water but they were STACKED. saw another boat show about 500 yards away with about 8 boats. the area we were in had about 4 boats, they werent busting the surface but we were getting doubles every cast with slabs and flies. crankbaits were getting hits every cast as well

Slab the edges of humps in 24-28 ft and you should do OK. Don't stay on one hump for long with no bites. Some humps are better than others.
