I thought it was where the old dam is actually on the other side(west) where the party cove is. Where the NO BOATS sign is where that drunk chick sunk that express cruiser 2 years ago,when she drove through the dam and knocked the outdrives off.

Huh. party cove has been in the same spot for a long while now. it just moves north and south of the cut a hundred yards depending on the wind..

I don't know about 98 but the one that sunk in 2000 was removed. I think it was 2000. It was the summer it rained and rained. I don't think that they can leave a boat due to the fact its a water source. They have to get the vessel out of the water at their expense.
