I fished from 4 to almost dark. I marked several fish and all i had was a Chrome 7/8 oz slab with red eyes.Managed to catch one small sandie and that was down by the damn trolling southwest. I am new to fishing hybrids and stripes and im fishing from a 16ft 3" Nitro Bass boat. All i have for now is a humminbird wide 128 that i am not impressed with,Came with the boat. Anybody have any suggestions on Benbrook and the jigs or bait,rig,setup that i should use? Also if you have any tips for Whitney this time of year that would be great! I am thinking that may be my next trip because the bass fishing is shutdown big time! Thanks for any advice given. TFF is my new home for sure!

Just add the thread to your watched lists..if i'm not mistaken there's an option in your user options that will email you when there is a reply on a thread you're participating in. Should be under preferences and sorry I do not know much about Benbrook.

I did add it to my watch list but it doesnt show up.. Even after a refresh or even the next day. I will check my user options, Thanks for the help.

Just learned how to use the watched topics.Got that figured out now.

Upsize your slab--2 oz. Find out where the main humps and points are in the lake that hold bait/fish. Still a little early for trolling IMO but getting very close.
