hahaha. Not sure where to even go with this one. It's friday and lot's of fishing this weekend so I'm in a fairly decent mood.
Do you own a scale or plan on purchasing one in the near future?
Is this your largest fish to date?
You have officially earned the title for the smallest guess the weight of the fish post. Nice work.
2.21 to 2.67 pounds.
Get a scale this weekend. $4 bucks at academy.
BTW
Another picture with the fish in the dirt and your TFF account could possibly be locked permanently.

As big as he's gonna get cuz he's sure to die after you held him by the lip and laid him in the dirt 2 1/2- 3 lbs

FWAggie, that's a nice fish. I'd say close to 3 lbs. Sure do want to keep her in the water so the next time you catch her she'll weigh more. Hope you had a blast and keep up the good work. Catch, picture, release and maybe that scale thing now that you're catching some good ones..... Good luck and keep'em coming.

Get you a "clamp" scale (Berkley, Rapala, Bass Pro all have them, ask for a "Boga-grip" style), the kind that clamps on their lower lip. I use that when pond-fishing at lunch, as much to keep the fish smell off my hands before going back to work as anything ,but I simply lift their head above the water, clamp on them, lift them out, remove lure, check weight, and release. If lure is really stuck you may have to lip it by hand, but for most catches, you can free them with little to no physical contact at all.
<edit> I was new to most of this when I bought that type of scale/fish grabber, and was "suspicious" of it's grabbing strength... I've since seen ocean fisherman pulling out 150lb fish with the same thing, so it doesn't seem like much, but they work great. Accuracy can be suspect on anything "cheap", but it'll get you within 1/2 pound or so.
