I went out pretty late last night around 2 am to go fishin at my neighborhood pond. It was very windy and I only got 1 fish, but it was worth it this is the biggest sunfish I've caught all year. Got it topwater on a rebel crickhopper.

Not the greateast pictures, I'd guess it weighed at least a pound

Titty Bream! That's awesome man.

Poets talk about "spots of time," but it is really fishermen who experience eternity compressed into a moment. No one can tell what a spot of time is until suddenly the whole world is a fish and the fish is gone. I shall remember that son of a ***** forever. - Norman Maclean

That is a Monster female! Don't know if it's a greenie or hybrid, but it's a Dandy none the less! Nice fish FWB! cheers
The Rebel Crickhopper strikes again! Did you fish with the Crickhopper the whole time? Usually if I can get one to bite, I can at least get a few to follow if not short strike. Once I know where they are and that they will short strike a bit, I can catch them on soft plastics. Usually some thing subtle like a 1"-1.5" triple tip grub, tube or a small, skinny worm of some sort. Might help in the future.

Thanks, I use a variety of baits but I tend to use the crickhopper alot more at night time when I'm targetting larger bluegills/sunfish. The wide wobble seems to attract the fish well at night.
