After setting a record on the lake, my fishing buddy asked me to leave the line out so he could take my wife's grandfather out to catch a big one. Well he called me up last night thinking he had broken my record on the lake already! The reason he was sure of it was because it had the length...and so much fight in it...it completely wrecked my line! But at the scales it fell short at 60 lbs. I was just glad my wife's grandfather got to see a monster fish pulled into the boat. My trotline was wrecked though...and I'm not real sure what he meant by that...but he felt it necessary to pull the line up. Hopefully i'm headed up there this weekend to do some R&R.

you aren't too far from where i'm fishing...i plan to head up this weekend to do some rod n reel...we usually come in at Alley and head across the lake.
