Trying to meet my dad at half way point since I live in north Texas & he lives in Arkansas. We want to meet @ fork but do not know personally any places to stay at. Any recommendations will be great with information on accommodations.

Lake Fork Marina. Reasonable. Clean. Good Store and tackle onsite. Restaurant right there. Great place to stay.

Lake Fork Marina - Tiffany's Restaurant (get a piece of pie!!)
Burning Stump
Oak Ridge - (Restaurant is great there too)
Shorty's Resort

Been to all multiple times and never had a bad experience and all have great boat parking/hookups right off your room. I've been to others too, but these I would take my Dad to any time, and have! Good luck!

I stay at Popes when I need to stay overnight. Cheap clean rooms, good tackle selection if you need any, and good boat ramps.

All of the above are good places to stay. What I like about Burnin Stump is the well lit, covered parking for your boat right outside your door and the proximity to the 515 ramp and good restaurants. LFM is great as well, clean, nice tackle shop, and great food. I was also pleased with Pope's Landing the last time I stayed there. I usually like to fish this side of the lake, so these are all convenient to me. By the way, Verona is a surprisingly good Italian restaurant, and Tiffany's makes some killer breakfast burritos to go along with all of their other excellent food. Hope this helps!

Popes landing, make a stop by Lake Fork Marina and Joe Spaits Tackle Factory if you've never been to the Fork. Oh yeah don't forget about the pie at Tiffany's!
