I am on my 3rd unit. The screen keeps getting moisture behind it and you can not read the print on the inside. I exchanged it at BPS last night and now this unit has a different type screen, hopefully they have improved them to keep water out.

I would think since it is going on a boat it would be water proof? hammer

I haven't had any issue. There are times when it seems to make a difference.,

Mine does that too. Happened on the first trip out with rain too. Did you take them back to BPS each time? I got mine from TW.

Yes, they exchanged them. I just took my last one in Saturday, this is the one with the new design. I was told at the BPS they are suppose to be water proof and they had no problem exchanging them.

Yep, mine has moisture behind the little screen as well.

Had to send mine back after one trip, external speaker quit working. Still waiting for repaired unit. Emailed customer service and no reply, not even a automated one.

Well I had a chance to try the new unit out in the rain last week and it seemed to work perfectly no problems, no moisture in it. Hopefully the problem is solved.

Thanks Gene, been away from forum for awhile. I have recieved the unit back. Will probably make a trip to the lake next weekend to try it out. Thanks for the customer support.

I got a very quick response with emails back and forth. Mine was user error on my part. But, they were ready to fix and have me back on the water ASAP.
