Had another great day fishing yesterday. Got access to a private lake and went over it with the Hummingbird SI and found lots of structure that looked to be holding fish. Hard to believe how beneficial the SI unit is! Kept 21 good crappie and landed the 16” fish in the cooler pictured below. Now that's a toad! It’s the biggest crappie I’ve ever caught. Most of the rest were in the 13 to 14 inch range. All were caught using 2” Bobby Garland Blue Ice jigs. The one facing up was just over 16".  All 21 came off the same brushpile:  Also found other spots that were holding fish. I’m going to try to get back out this week and try these locations:   Looks like both are holding fish. I’ll see if there are still there later this week. Dave

I'm not certain but looked to be about 200 acres. Pretty good size for private property.

Dave, I have only been using blue ice baby shad for the last 8 months. I swear by that jig, nice catch!!

I have a 998si but I still can't make out that there's crappie on a spot,nor on the pic your showing.Good catch there
