It is possible, but have always used ghost minnows, no artificial lures.

from bank? more possible than some think.....leave the ghost minnows. put on some lures and start casting....

I've used artificial before, but I'm from the north, so what kind of rig do you gents use around here when using Ghost minnows?

fish windy points into the lake and windy shore line areas..watch for the standing water birds on the shore or rocks...early mornings and late afternoons are best...

Yeah, got a few pencil poppers and chug bugs lined up for top water, and slabs otherwise.

Any good tips on spots? I'll be near the annex but willing to travel!
