Finally got to try out the hummingbird for crappie at Cedar Creek. What a great unit!

I've been to this lake a number of times and always managed to catch some, but never a limit. I still need to make some adjustments, I think I had the chart speed to fast to the boat speed, I�ll play with it some next time I go out.

I marked a number of brush piles that I did not know were there previously and all looked to have fish on them. I had five new spots marked in no time at all. I caught a limit on the first place I tried. Left the others for future trips.

I caught a limit here on this tree. Found this on my first pass. You can see most of the fish are on the left end of the tree.



I also have a couple of other places I'll go back to later, just ran out of time this trip.

I caught some really good sized crappie this trip. Kept 25, caught a bit more than that.



My wife always asked why I needed to spend the money on this fish finder. She didn�t ask when I got home this time.

those units are priceless...I have a 1197si and wouldn't leave home without it...one way to convince the other half is tell her it will pay for itself in gas savings !!!!!!!!! great job on the slabs!!!!!!!
