Did a little traveling the last couple of days, but the action was well worth it.

PK striper fishing is coming back! The sandbass fishing continues to be excellent. We also caught eight stripers in the mix with the biggest around 22 inches. Doesn't compare to the big hybrids on Benbrook, but the action is there.

Bridgeport early morning action was good on humps and flats sunday am. Birds working some on the north east side of the lake. Hybrids to 7lbs and sandbass galore. Excellent action. Bite shut off around 10am, but until then the fishing was excellent.

Time to wet a line.

Glad to hear @ the stripers at Possum Kingdom. I have a trip planned this month, but it is always good to get fired up ahead of time.

Great to hear some upbeat news about PK. We own a lot at the Cliffs and last year's fires were a low point.

It's just good to hear that the fishing is turning on - sounds like Peanut Patch is coming to life!

Michael, sorry I missed seeing you on PK. We got there Wednesday afternoon and stayed until noon or so Sunday. Friday the fish did not bite as well but all other days were really good, we also had 8 stripers and 200 or so sandies, all fish were released. Good to see a striper or two back on the lake.

Well great just when I think I've figured out how to find fish and catch them with a slab and fly, or in my wife's case flies, you want me to figure out how to get pictures on the forum. I'll work on it but right now I think all the chips are busy in my computer.
