quockie, the mold does have 4 different weights: 3/4oz, 5/8oz, 1/2oz and 3/8oz. I use 5/8oz most time. 3/4oz is good for deep water, or trolling on a boat. It's a bit too heavy where we are fishing for sandies. 1/2oz is also a good weight. Sometimes fishes do prefer smaller lures. For lighter weight, or shallow water, you will better off with blue fox, or moon fox.

I would like some 3/8 ones but in my experience they are more prone to twisting in the water?

Depends. You can use smaller hook, and keep the tail longer, use lighter rod and line. 3/8oz is too small in my application. 1/2 is the smallest that I like to use. I would like some 3/8 ones but in my experience they are more prone to twisting in the water?

Went this morning, got up there before sunrise this morning, caught a 4inch bluegill and balloned it to the middle off the river with no success,i saw alot of shad balled up in the pools but no bass around.tried everything from fly rod all the way to top water and struck out, pulled out the corn and caught buffalo, drum, catfish. Looks like this rain hasnt convinced the core to generae, ill be on lewisville all day monday hunting hybrids from the dolly partin humps north through the telephone poles and dead mans point, if you see a blue 22ft polar center console, give a holler ill be on the fish

Nice looking lures. How did the floats work for you. Still looking for smaller diameter for you Pockets

I did not have any chance to use one yet. Still waiting the opportunity to try them out at DD. I am sure they will work really good.
